MR. MATTHEW DUNFORD

Matthew was born in Lancashire, and graduated in law at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He was called to the bar by Lincoln's Inn in 1992. Whilst studying in London he was awarded two scholarships by his Inn being the Hardwicke and Droop awards.

His practice comprises criminal and family law. In the area of family law he has a particular interest in ancillary relief and has presented seminars on this topic. Matthew also specialises in care proceedings acting for both local authorities and parents/guardians and feels that there is a synergy between this area of law and his criminal practice.

Matthew is currently the treasurer of the North Wales and Chester Family Law Bar Association and is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and the Family Law Bar Association.
