Kathryn was called to the Bar in 2005 following completion of an LLB law degree at Sheffield University. Kathryn was aslo awarded a scholarship from Lincoln's Inn.

Kathryn undertook pupillage in Manchester and joined Chambers in 2008.

Kathryn specialises in family law including public and private children proceedings,matrimonial proceedings,and domestic violence injunctions. Kathryn regularly appears in the Family Proceedings and County Courts and has represented Local Authorities in public law proceedings.

Kathryn also specialises in Criminal Law, undertaking a wide range of work, including both prosecution and defence.
