MR. EDWARD TIMPSON MP

Edward was called to the Bar in 1998 and after completing his degree at Durham University joined Nicholas Street Chambers under the supervision of Duncan Bould.

Edward specialises in family law and has developed a strong practice which encompasses all aspects of Children Act 1989 work,including public and private law applications,child abduction and adoption work.

Edward also specialises in Care proceedings acting on behalf of a number of local authorities as well as parents and guardians and has given lectures on the Public Law Outline to local solicitors.

Edward has appeared recently for a local authority in the Court of Appeal and is a member of the Family Law Bar Association.

Outside chambers interests include politics and sport.
