Anthony studied at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, where he took degrees in English and then Law.  He spent his first seven years at the Bar in what is now Atlantic Chambers, Liverpool.  He moved to the Chester Bar in 1981.  He specialises in family work, and devotes his time to care cases (representing respondents and children), residence and contact disputes.  He also conducts contested divorces, injunctions, change of name and other forms of relief, and ancillary relief work.  Anthony and his wife Fiona (also a member of the Family Team) live in Shropshire, and much of his work is in courts local to that area.
